Luxury editorial kit, containing a book that lists important paintings for art history with the color palette present in them. In addition to the book, the kit contains an information booklet telling a little about the colors, their symbolism and sensations, and a postcard of a prominent work of art.
The entire project was made based on studies on colors, color circles, pigments, people's perception and feelings about colors and the planned or intuitive use of colors in art.
The covers were filled with paintings with a single predominant color. Each being a primary color: Blue, yellow and red.
The kit contains a fine art book, an informative magazine about colors in art and in our life and a collectable postcard with an important work of art.
The book brings a special surprise: Its composition allows it to be arranged open, for a complete visualization of the color transition from one painting to another, according to the color circle.
The book consists of works by artists important to the history of art, with information, including the museum where they are, so that people can search for the painting.
In addition, fragments of the paintings that represented the most evident colors in them were highlighted, creating a color palette for each image.
Seven main colors were chosen within the circle of pigments to be addressed in the magazine.
A double page was assigned to each color: one for the text telling about the history of the first pigments made with that color, about cultural meanings applied to it, among others; and the other for an image that illustrates and proves one of the information covered in the text.
